Smile Makeover
Thinking about Smile Makeover Procedure Overseas?
A smile makeover is a cosmetic and dental procedure that rejuvenates the lips, teeth, and cheeks. Depending on the extent of the work to be done, a smile makeover can be performed by either a dentist, maxillofacial surgeon, or both. The most common elements of a smile makeover are tooth repair and replacement, whitening, braces, and lip and cheek injections. Cosmetic dentistry is not usually covered by insurance. In the US, the total cost may be $20,000 or more, and up to £15,000 in the UK. Patients can save money by having several procedures at once, or by finding a dentist overseas.
In Mexico and Costa Rica, a smile makeover costs less than $10,000 or £7,000. Dentists and plastic surgeons in these countries are skilled and experienced. Because cosmetic procedures are so popular in Latin America, patients will find plenty of trained and licensed doctors, most of whom speak English. Before the smile makeover, the patient will consult with the dentist to discuss which procedures the patient needs. Dental clinics are equipped with all of the tools and materials needed to perform tooth whitening, crown and bridgework, braces, dental implants, and tooth resurfacing. Many dentists are also licensed to perform collagen and Restylane injections, in case the patient wants to enhance the area around the mouth. The dentist can also provide referrals for plastic surgeons. The total time required to complete the dental work is about a week or less.

i am 15 and i need braces really bad. But when i talked to my orthodontist about it he said i would have braces on for about 2 years which is a long time. i feel really self conscious about my teeth, they are crowded and crooked.my two incisors where pushed forward and up ex:( http://cent4dent.com/html/cosmetic_dentistry/instant_ortho1.html)i also have and underbite. my teeth isnt the most extreme case, but i definetly should have gotten braces a while ago. braces are expensive and they take so long to straighten teeth. i was wondering if i could get a smile make over instead that would cost under 6000 dollars. and is there anything my insurance can cover possibly unberbits surgery? thank you :) | Post your questions and comments! |
